The petite dryad, druidess. Dearly loved her apple tree, which was her ward, her bonded mate with in Gaea’s schism of things. Alllowed by her master at the time a noble torian named Rei Kai. To be able to tend to her tree when she needed to. Even allowing her the freedom to further her studys with in the circle of hortus.

It was during this time that the Mother of the Grove the arch heirophant Nefertia, would up vanish. Leaving the circle of hortus in a state of limbo. The months of late spring and summer. Would see Talani consumed with tending to the gardens of the circle. It was during this time that she would hear the faint whispers of the ancient oak tree of the grove. The young dryad, would put a call out to the hierophants of the area. That were still about. But none would heed her call. Without the guidance and strong hand of the Mother of the grove. They were unbound, and would do as they wished. Not heeding the call, put forth. It was at this time that Talani decided to undertake a risky venture. She would meld and bond with the ancient oak. Thus making her bonded to two trees, as their guardian. In a bonding ritual she would become one woth the Ancient oak.

She would sense a sadness with in the ancient oak. Which she would once again call out for help from the hierophants of the land. And like before the answer to her call would go unheeded. But things were rapidally changing. Talani realized she could not be slave and progress and nurture the circle or promote Gaea.’s will. And still be what Rei Kai needed. She would approach her master and ask for her release. And would explain the reasons behind it. This would cause her much heartache. For she was in love with the torian. And as his slave, she had excuse to be with him. His lover was extremely jealous of him with her or anyone else. So she knew in her heart that if she was no longer Rei’s slave. She would lose him. But Rei being a generous and caring master, would grant his beloved nymph what she wanted. And thus she would become a free person. Something she had not been much of time recently.

Finally the call is answered, the deep green earthen drak sen Drakar answers the call. This delights the nymph to no end. He would seek to also want to commune with the tree the ancient oak of the circle. In a rare bonding the dryad would perform a ritual with the heirophant. Merging Drakar with the ancient oak. And he would see the sadness and distress that was the ancient oaks. It would begin to consume the two., who were bonded to this avatar of Gaea. As the sadness, was more like a sickness. That could not be named. Even by the power of the heirophant Drakar.
