Falador's and Chastity's Wedding
The priestess Eraelabryn performed Falador and Chastity’s wedding ceremony. There were numerous Nobles, Royals, Reeves, and friends among the guests. Chastity arrived by carriage wearing a tiara with a diamond in her hair, a gift from Lord Ryo.
Among the guests were L`aquera, Lord Ryo, Infernis accompanied by Tesan, Kiara, WhiteMist and Maliche. In the distant shadows Ray’el looked on not wanting to be seen.
Kiara set up the platform under the tent for Eraelbyrn to read the ceremony, while the priestess scattered clippings of plants. Kiara lit candles silently while having her mouth bound by a silken ribbon. There was an ice fountain outside and a runway into the tent lined with flowers and vines forming an archway.
Falador the dutiful groom had everything set up from the tent, food, entertainment and even the decorations. The ambiance was extraordinary and from the tent one could see the huge bonfire burning providing light.
The bride Chastity arrived by carriage wearing white silk that captured every curve and accentuated her hair which was worn up with a few loose tendrils that drifted down her neck.
The ceremony was the first wedding the bard writing of this event in the journal had seen, and when Eraelabryn asked the couple to convince her why they should be joined a glass was cracked and turned to dust before there eyes. Tehya played the hand harp for the introduction of the ceremony and out of the corner of her eye she almost thought she seen L`aquera laugh and cover her mouth which brought on whispered gossips of her marrying for love. The ceremony began as her laughter was muffled.
The priestess bound them with leather praying to Kirva. They repeated their vows and candles were used to drip wax upon their flesh. Their pledges were given and the ceremony was over. Ending the ceremony was a tale of their ongoing love and what drew them together by Tehya. She entailed humorous details of things Chastity and Falador did which drew them together into matrimony. It ended in a song where others were asked to join in the last verse.
A reception followed with food and drink for all.
