A Bard`s Memory of Empire

The 25th Year of The Ilfirian Empire

January 6th 2007
Tu`Turadil Ceremony

Logolar escorted people into the Tu’Turadil Ceremony for Bennu. In attendance was Ray’el who handed her a gift when entering. The Reeve Infernis attended the ceremony along with Kuromaku. There were salutes of greetings between Kuromako and Ray`el. Lord Ryo and Tehya attended and everyone watched as the ceremony was prepared. Eraelabryn took Bennu’s gift and set it aside to see if she was worthy of it at a later time.

Tehya watched with total interest jotting down details to write in the emperor’s journal when returning home. Wearing the pin that Stormbringer left in her home, the bard was acknowledged much quicker wearing the pin and allowed to attend. She quickly picked up a waiver of uneasiness when Eraelabryn chastised Beenu in front of the guests.

Turning to the audience in the front of the shrine of Kirva they waited for the ceremony to begin. Eraleabryn greeted the audience and thanked them for witnessing the honor bestowed upon the flesh of Bennu, and she began to explain the ceremony in detail.

Tu`Turadil slaves were highly respected and considered exemplary modes in both skill and behavior, she announced. She explained the high level of self discipline and self control it took to become one. Candles were lit and dripped upon Bennu’s most intimate parts of her flesh. She declared before all while doing this; the pain would be a reminder of the honored service she was being bound to with the blessing of Kirva. The trails of wax lines over Bennu who never moved proved she had learned to excel in service. She became the newest Sister of the Order of Tu’Turadil on the 25th year of Stormbringer’s empire.
