It holds a very subtle but also obvious magic: it changes the brightness of the irises of the possessor based upon their emotions. Eyes seem lighter when the owner is happy, excited, or blissful. Consequently the eyes turn darker when the owner is experiencing hate, anger, fear, negative emotions primarily. The transition is obvious, as the irises swirl like a circling cloud around pupils, a drop of light or darkness added and then absorbed in the motions during a change. Often, if one looks close enough, her hues 'would' seem to swirl even if the emotion was constant, though this could only be seen after careful examination.

When the first bearer fell dead to the toxin, another took it up and sought to bite into it in hopes that closeness would protect him more effectively than their leader. The Eye of Volar is a glass lens that is circled in a black tinged Mithril. Across the face of the mithril are several intricate inscriptions and everything else is scrolled knot work. The lens its self is impossible to scratch and even harder to break. To the average eye it would look like almost any magnifying lens that could be lifted and used, but to someone who could identify the marks within the scroll work, this item was far more than just that. The Eye of Volar is some five inches across, another perhaps half an inch with both sides included.
But where the magic came into play with this wonderful device was that it was created a long time go by a rather perverted mage who wanted to see beyond a woman’s clothing. For this his creation worked wonderfully. But one day while working on another project he dropped a handful of his reagents down through some cracks in the floor. The items dropped were rate, and he had already spent a small fortune to obtain them. After several days of trying different ways to locate and bring those items out of the cracks they had dropped into he got angry enough to throw the lens to the floor… it was then that he realized it would see through the first layer of anything… not just clothes.
When it was learned that the item he carried had that kind of power there it was only a few days longer before the mage was found murdered and the item missing. It was said that the Eye passed through the fingers of assassins and rogues for ages after that. No one owner was ever confirmed, but many believe some of the greatest displays of thievery and murder that were ever committed happened due to the insight gathered through the Eye alone.

This is but one in a series of similar items crafted by the silversmith Antissor, first crafted at the behest of the local head of the thieves guild, who was having problems with his hired muscle getting their wages picked from their pockets by rival thieves. Antissor crafted many of these items, including one for himself and his lover at the time. The whereabouts of the entire set is not known, as the items were scattered over the ages, and became much-coveted charms by heads of thieves guild across the world, gifted to favored guards and lovers. This mirror will provide a complete outfit of the owner's own design sans shoes, those will need to be a separate purchase, but what person does not like to shop for shoes. It is meant for the person of style and not necessarily the warrior as it cannot provide armor or create outfits that provide any sort of defense or offense. However, should you wish to enhance the beauty of that ugly metal armor, you can adding a few touches of fabric or a cape, maybe a cloak, but it will do nothing more that make you look that much better in battle. But rest assured, should you need a costume or a dress for the grand gala, this shall suffice, providing that you have the proper materials on hand. For this seamstress works for free, but provides no supplies of her own. One would need to outfit her with all of the fabrics to make an outfit for one's size. Alas, a poor imagination will most definitely result in a poor outfit, but that is not the mirrors faults, but ones own.
Mech - The owner is able to create an outfit that will first form on the image within the mirror. Provided that they have purchased the needed materials from the proper store. It will work with any sort of fabric, including furs, silks, satins, potato sack, etc. But they must be on hand and cannot be reused, although the outfit does not disappear at midnight. The outfit will remain, unless of course it is ripped off by a raving wolven. Then new material must be purchased to recreate the outfit. A minimum of a yard of fabric is used for each color or material included in the outfit.

When the trigger word is spoke. "IxiePixiePoo" the wand shoots a beautiful spray of colored dust. The one it is fired upon then is compelled to find the very next action in their range of sight hysterical. Much like the laugh spell and not to be used in combat.
