How long does it all take?
All times referred to here are RL times as time runs faster IC and are not a real reflection of how long things really take in RL, just an approximation developed for RP purposes.
Dying: the art of using a variety of powders in solution to effect a color change, takes 1 day per color required.
Enameling: the act of covering with colored powders and baking in an oven, takes one day per color used.
Engraving: using tools to gouge out the relevant design takes, depending on the intricacy and size of the design 1 to 3 days.
Etching: the act of producing a design through use of acid to eat away part of the material, takes 2 days.
